| | It is now approximately 1:40 in the morning. My car broke down and I am at my best friend Rachel's house. I apparently lost a pulley, and the fan belt came loose. Then the battery light came on, my heat stopped working, the engine temperature started to rise, and my power steering went out. The Lord was good to me, though. I was right by an exit when it started, so I exited the highway and pulled into a gas station. While waiting for the tow truck, I indulged in a nice cold grape pop. (On a side note, I have rediscovered my love for grape pop lately. Walmart. 2 liters. 58 cents.)
I hate having car trouble, and it has been giving me problems lately. I think it's just getting old. I put a lot of wear on a car, as I drive about 1,300-1,500 miles per month. It's time for me to look into getting a new one.
On the brighter side, I called into work and told them I might not be in tomorrow, so at least I get to sleep in a bit. And since I'm at Rachel's house, I get to snuggle with Ashen, an adorable little cat. Everything's better when you have a cat.
